[ holding up a couple books that are less moldy ]

Some textbooks and story books, mainly.

Any history books?

None that I've found yet.

Interesting. Have you found any books on scientific or magical theory?

[perspire]

Some science books, yeah.

[ looks through the books he has and holds out a couple ]

Thank you. [He says, maneuvering the book so he can look through it. His left arm is in a sling but he can still use that hand.]

I'd like to learn a little bit more about this world. I don't know if it was scientific or magical knowledge that allowed them to construct this city, but it might benefit us to find out.

[perspire]

Considering the bubble, I wouldn't count out magic yet.

[ he's careful as he hands over the book, being mindful of the sling ]

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Isn't that what they say?

Hm, I suppose that is true. There's stuff I heard about that I would have never imagined.

So we should do our best to figure out what this world was actually like, and then what happened to it.

[perspire]

That could help explain what's going on to us.

[reflash]

Exactly.

It might not tell us anything, but it might be vitally important.

[perspire]

And the more we know, we can better understand everything.
