I'll do my best. [He leaves, with a slight bow. Hopefully, he'll be able to find some other open doors and look around without interrupting anyone else.
Unfortunately... that isn't what happens. The doors are locked, and more than that...]
Excuse me, [he says, after knocking and waiting to be welcomed in.]
[ she had been incredibly lucky in that the second room she tried was hers (theirs), so she doesn't know if there's anything else to be expected. she didn't explore too much. ]
I hope it's not too much trouble for me to take up some space here. If I could use one of those nightstands, and a pillow, I won't take up too much space.
[Well, that's certainly one way to put it. He still smiles, apologetic and polite.]
I haven't had a chance to look at the bed, but if there are enough sheets to spare something, that would make the floor a bit more comfortable for me, and I would appreciate it.
I suppose it depends on what you mean by that. I have been summoned before, and I've seen many different places. But never have I been summoned to such an usual location, and without knowing my Master... I find it very unnerving.
That sounds like it would be extremely unsettling. Do you always know your summoner, or have you sometimes appeared in... the physical world without one?
It is impossible for me to exist without being summoned. It would have to be a conscious effort. However, that does not seem to be the case this time. I am not suited for battle, so that doesn't bother me too much, but... not knowing why I am here, and who summoned me, does.
Whoever brought us here doesn't seem interested in providing any answers, but if they're able to summon humans who shouldn't be able to be summoned, along with demons... and others ["demon" doesn't seem like quite the right term for her, unless she's hiding a tail and horns] they're working with a system of magic none of us are accustomed to.
That's right. It must be powerful magic indeed, which means there's an even more powerful enemy to wield it. Ah... This is worse than I could have imagined.
Time will tell what sort of tools we will be. Although without a contract, things could get very interesting... I hope that is not the case. I would rather it be boring and then we are allowed to leave.

I haven't finished checking all the rooms yet, and if it comes to that I'm sure I could get one of these doors off its hinges.

[ like. she isn't really crazy about A Man being in the room with her but he can't just let him die in a freak accident out in the hall?!!!! ]

If you're that concerned, I'll come back and update you on what I find.

I would find that most reassuring if you could. Please do not put yourself at any additional risk of harm.

I have some bad news about these rooms.

Then I suppose we will have to figure out a satisfactory resolution for this... situation.

[ the sheets are not great so parting with one isn't exactly difficult. sche folds up the top sheet gently to give it to yukio. ]
I'm sorry that things can't be more equitable.

I'm Okumura Yukio. I'm sorry to bother you like this.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Okumura Yukio. I am Scheherazade. If only we could have met under better circumstances.

These circumstances were rather unexpected. Have you ever heard of anything like this happening before?
